Life is made best for each of us and I will forever believe in this. I really can’t understand why some people don’t know how to appreciate life. Of course, there will be flaws and some difficulties but that’s the spice of life. Without hardships and struggles, we can never see the real essence of life. Material things don’t say it all when it comes to life’s achievement. Sometimes, even the richest person who can buy everything that he/she wishes but is far from his/her family can’t be as happy as the one who has a complete family even if they have difficulties about money.

I remember a rich friend of mine who owns a pool supplies business. They sell stuffs like above ground pool heater, above ground pools decks, and other above ground pool-related things. When winter is approaching, we can see her buying all the stuffs that she wants because it is their business’ peak season. She can buy everything, that is what everyone knows about her. But not everyone knows how sad she is. She always tells me how sad it is to have a broken home. Her father and mother are separated and she only sees her mother once or twice a year. What’s sad is that she always tells me that we are lucky by just having both our parents on our side. Whenever she opens about it, I always tell myself that I must be contented on the thing that I have right now.

Yes, I can’t buy everything at once. We don’t have that big house like what she has but I have my family, a family that I know will always be there through my ups and downs. I am just so thankful that God knows what I need and He knows what’s best for each of us. Heaven made everything fair. We may not have all that we desire but I am sure that we all have something to be thankful for because heaven knows what is best for us.
